Annet Kamya
Founder & Executive Director
Annet Kamya is the Founder and Executive Director of New Beginnings International, a youth development nonprofit serving ages 11–21 through structured skill-building, accountability, and mentorship programming.
Raised in a family of thirteen children, Annet learned early the values of responsibility, resilience, cooperation, and leadership. Growing up in a large household required maturity beyond her years learning how to navigate conflict, share resources, support siblings, and contribute meaningfully to family structure. Those formative experiences shaped her deep understanding of how environment influences behavior and how guidance can change direction.
As one of the older siblings helped guide the younger ones, she saw firsthand how influence positive or negative shapes outcomes. That early exposure to leadership within the home became the foundation for her passion to mentor youth today.
Annet has worked directly with young people in community and faith-based settings and has mentored youth in structured group environments. Her approach combines:
• Practical decision-making skills
• Emotional regulation development
• Accountability systems
• Identity and purpose formation
• Structured goal planning
Through New Beginnings International’s Youth Behavioral Development & Accountability Program (YBDAP), she now provides a 12-week structured intervention model designed to strengthen personal responsibility, reduce risky behavior patterns, and build measurable growth in youth ages 11–21.
Annet’s leadership philosophy is simple:

Her life experience, combined with structured program design, positions her to work effectively with:

She believes that every young person, regardless of background or past mistakes, has the capacity for growth, stability, and purpose when supported intentionally.
