New Beginnings International Inc (NBII) is a Georgia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to mentoring, equipping, and empowering children, youth, and young adults. We help young people become confident, responsible, and purpose-driven leaders who strengthen their families and communities. Through mentorship, leadership development, character education, life-skills training, and supportive relationships, participants build resilience, confidence, and practical skills for making positive decisions. NBI emphasizes prevention, early intervention, and long-term transformation by nurturing identity, character, and personal responsibility. We believe every young person has untapped potential and that investing in them early transforms generations.

At NBII, our evidence-informed youth development model combines caring mentorship with practical preparation for life. We help children, adolescents, and young adults discover their identity, strengths, and purpose while developing character, integrity, confidence, and personal responsibility. Participants strengthen communication, emotional resilience, decision-making, problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork skills. Our programs also prepare young people for educational achievement, employment, entrepreneurship, and lifelong success, empowering them to contribute positively to their families and communities. We deliver these programs in diverse settings, including schools, churches, community organizations, mentoring initiatives, juvenile justice and diversion programs, prevention services, and other youth development organizations.

We envision a future where every at-risk young person has the confidence, purpose, and leadership skills needed to reach their full potential. Through caring community support and faith-based mentorship, youth will develop strong character, resilience, integrity, and personal responsibility. They will be equipped to make positive decisions, overcome challenges, pursue education and meaningful careers, and become compassionate leaders. By surrounding young people with trusted mentors, practical opportunities, and consistent encouragement, we seek to build a generation prepared to strengthen their families, serve their communities, inspire others, and create lasting positive change in the world.  

Our mission is to mentor, train, and equip children, youth, and young adults with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to thrive. Through structured mentorship, leadership development, character education, and life-skills training, we help young people discover their identity, recognize their strengths, and pursue their purpose. We provide supportive relationships and meaningful opportunities that build resilience, personal responsibility, sound decision-making, and a commitment to service. By preparing young people for education, employment, entrepreneurship, and leadership, we empower them to overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and create lasting positive change within their families, communities, and the world.

At NBII, we believe lasting transformation begins with a strong sense of identity. When young people understand who they are, recognize their value, and accept responsibility for their decisions, they gain the confidence to overcome challenges and resist negative influences. By developing practical life skills, strong character, and personal integrity, participants become better prepared to pursue meaningful goals and build successful futures. Our programs are interactive, relationship-centered, and focused on measurable growth. We combine engaging instruction, mentorship, coaching, group activities, reflection, and real-world application to help participants turn knowledge into positive choices, healthy relationships, purposeful leadership, and lasting personal change.

Across the communities we serve, many young people experience challenges that affect their confidence, relationships, education, decision-making, and future opportunities. Punishment alone cannot address the underlying causes of these struggles or create lasting change. Young people need trusted mentors, positive role models, safe and supportive environments, practical guidance, and consistent encouragement. New Beginnings International provides these essential resources through programs that strengthen identity, character, resilience, and life skills.
